The Strategic Enterpreunership Programme (SEP) has on Saturday 30th September, 2017 donated relief items to victims of the flood and mudslide in Freetown.
The donated items include bags of rice, bundles of water, packets of biscuits, books, salts and other assorted items.
Presenting the items at Hill Station, SEP Coordinator Ibrahim Bangura said that they were able to buy the items as a result of generous contributions made by members of the organisation. He noted that the donation was done in order to help alleviate the plight of the victims of the twin disaster.
Receiving the items on behalf of the flood and mudslide victims, Moseray Sufian Tarawally, a representative from the Office of National Security thanked SEP for the manifestation of love they have demonstrated to their fellow compatriots. “we are really happy about this laudable gesture,and we are presenting this certificate to you for the sake of transparency and accountability ” he explained .
Meanwhile, SEP is a diaspora led investment that is providing training to Sierra Leoneans to become entrepreneurs. Over the years the organization has been conducting training for quite a good number of Sierra Leoneans especially young people.
