SEP Distributes 500 Face masks to different target groups in Freetown, Sierra Leone.
Sierra Leone has recorded 26 confirmed cases of Corona Virus, and over 500 people have been quarantined. The country is observing an inter – district lockdown for two weeks. The Government is now encouraging people to wear face masks in public.
The number of COVID-19 cases is rapidly increasing and the supply of face masks is increasing worldwide. Therefore, SEP Investment Services LTD has partnered with the United Tailor Development Association (UTDA), a cooperative of more than 100 tailors/ tailoring shops owners to quickly make fabric masks (100% cotton) for vulnerable communities.
Although we are not yet sure about the effectiveness of face mask in the fight against Corona, we still want to produce 10.000 and distribute them for those in need.
