Background

SEP Investment Services (SL) LTD (“SEP”) is a social company registered in 2018 with the Corporate Affairs Commission, Freetown City Council, and Tonkolili District Council, Magboraka (Northern Region), Sierra Leone. SEP collaborates closely with the Sierra Leone Youth Initiative, registered in Tilburg, the Netherlands and international development students in the Netherlands. Our organization is mature and solid, harboring great potential for future growth. Thanks to our committed team of young men and women in Sierra Leone and our partners in Sierra Leone and abroad.
SEP have three ongoing projects, in fashion, drinking water and agriculture.

Our Vision

SEP is passionate about harnessing and redirecting the mindsets of Sierra Leoneans to perceive business as a viable and valuable career pathway through our on-campus and off‐campus training, coaching activities, and lobbying for start‐up financial support in the agribusiness, fashion and drinking water sectors that will contribute to employment and economic development of Sierra Leone. SEP initiative will be part of Sierra Leone’s contributions to SDGs 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 8, 9, 10 and 17

Our Mission

Our mission is to develop and maintain a highly competitive platform of high-value enterprises and provide members with business training, consultancy, lobby and advocacy for funding of start‐up entrepreneurs in the agribusiness, fashion and drinking water industries.

Target groups

Youth with ambition to start their own businesses.
Corporations and other privately owned companies with similar or compatible activities that might be interested in what we do, to create greater value and public confidence in our products and services.
Government agencies for contract possibilities to increase our revenue base to be reinvested in creating more opportunities for young people to create jobs/businesses and income.
Diaspora members (overseas compatriots) to leverage this key pool of resources, networks and expertise in developing business cases for the company and its target groups.

Our sharp focus on three high-potential sectors in Sierra Leone, assets, operations and a team in both rural and urban areas of the country, combined with the involvement of Sierra Leone diaspora and business and development experts in the Netherlands, form a strong set of assets that enables business and social innovation, professional management, and transnational marketing and distribution that together Benefit the planet, people, and prosperity for all stakeholders.

Our governance aspirations are embedded in our company’s codes of conduct. The core is transparency, respect and fairness to ensure that every team member has the opportunity to participate and contribute in the management and strategic decision making process of the company.
In terms of environmental care, we promote circular development and ensure operations are based on a zero waste tolerance.
